I have always been a horse and pet lover, and have been driven to learn about animal behaviour and health from an early age. I obtained my first post-secondary degree in Equine Studies (BSc) at Writtle Agricultural College, University of Essex, UK. I then graduated as a Registered Veterinary Nurse with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons in the UK in 2001. I have had a varied career including equine nursing at two large equine referral hospitals, mixed farm and equine practice, and small animal practice in the UK and BC.

I moved to Princeton with my husband and menagerie of animals in 2010. I love calling our small town home, and am now raising a young family here. I also enjoy running, snowboarding, and most of all riding.
